Emergency Service Call: Commercial P-Trap Failure
Justin Matthews • September 3, 2026
A dental office back in operation the same day

Location: Greenville, SC
The problem. A dental office opened to water under a treatment room sink. Every hour closed was billable chair time lost.
What we did.
- Responded as an emergency service call and were onsite within the window
- Isolated the supply and stopped the water first
- Diagnosed a failed P-trap assembly rather than the supply line the staff suspected
- Replaced the assembly and tested under load
- Cleaned the affected area and confirmed no cabinet damage had set in
The result. Practice operating the same day. The emergency service call exists for exactly this — stop the bleed, diagnose, and quote anything larger before proceeding.
