These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Radical Handyman Co LLC’s services, website, software systems, communications, estimates, and project operations.
By requesting services, submitting a form, approving an estimate, scheduling work, communicating with us, or otherwise engaging Radical Handyman Co LLC (“Radical,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to these Terms.
1. Services Provided
Radical provides handyman, repair, remodeling, maintenance, installation, renovation, project management, and related construction services.
Certain work requiring licensed specialty contractors under applicable law may be referred to licensed professionals or subcontractors.
We reserve the right to decline projects outside our scope, expertise, scheduling capacity, or safety standards.
2. Estimates & Scope of Work
Estimates are based on:
- Visible conditions
- Information provided by the customer
- Site walkthrough observations
- Photos and documentation
- Reasonably accessible areas
Hidden conditions, concealed damage, code deficiencies, structural issues, moisture intrusion, or unforeseen conditions may require additional work and pricing adjustments.
Estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
AI-assisted estimate drafting or scope generation tools may be used internally for operational assistance. Final project scope and pricing remain subject to human review and approval.
3. Deposits & Payment Terms
Projects exceeding $2,000 generally require a 50% deposit to secure scheduling and project placement.
Final payment is due immediately upon substantial completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Larger or multi-phase projects may require progress payments based on project duration, milestones, or completed work.
Failure to make required payments may result in:
- Work stoppage
- Schedule delays
- Material procurement delays
- Withholding of final documentation or deliverables
Invoices not disputed within 7 days are deemed accepted.
We reserve the right to charge reasonable late fees, collection costs, attorney fees, and interest permitted by law for overdue balances.
4. Scheduling, Access & Delays
Customers are responsible for:
- Providing safe access to the property
- Ensuring utilities are available
- Securing pets, valuables, and fragile items
- Disclosing known hazards including mold, asbestos, lead paint, water damage, or unsafe conditions
An adult representative may be required onsite during service unless otherwise agreed.
Scheduling dates are estimates and may be affected by:
- Weather
- Material delays
- Vendor delays
- Illness
- Emergencies
- Site conditions
- Safety concerns
- Force majeure events
Radical is not liable for delays outside its reasonable control.
5. Change Orders & Additional Work
Additional work outside the original scope may require:
- Written approval
- Revised pricing
- Schedule adjustments
- Additional deposits
Verbal approvals, text approvals, email approvals, or digital approvals may constitute authorization to proceed.
6. Warranty & Workmanship
Radical Handyman Co LLC stands behind the quality of its workmanship.
We provide a limited workmanship warranty covering defects directly caused by our labor or installation practices under normal use conditions.
This warranty does not cover:
- Manufacturer defects
- Normal wear and tear
- Existing conditions
- Concealed conditions
- Moisture intrusion
- Structural movement
- Customer misuse
- Third-party modifications
- Lack of maintenance
- Acts of nature
Customers must notify us within a reasonable timeframe after discovering a concern.
While Radical reserves discretion regarding the scope and method of warranty resolution, we are committed to making reasonable good-faith efforts to address legitimate workmanship-related concerns.
Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
7. Communication Consent
By providing contact information, you consent to receive communications from Radical including:
- Calls
- Emails
- SMS/text messages
- Appointment notifications
- Project updates
- Estimate notifications
- Invoice notifications
- Operational communications
Message frequency varies.
Message and data rates may apply.

Consent to communications is not a condition of purchase.
8. Photography & Documentation
Radical may photograph or document projects before, during, and after work for:
- Operational records
- Quality control
- Estimate preparation
- Warranty documentation
- Training
- Marketing and portfolio purposes
Customers may opt out of marketing use by notifying us in writing before work begins.
9. Software Systems & Digital Operations
Radical may use operational software systems, customer portals, AI-assisted workflows, scheduling systems, photo documentation systems, communication systems, and electronic records to manage projects and communications.
Digital approvals, electronic signatures, text approvals, and email confirmations may be treated as valid authorization and business records.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Radical is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Radical is not liable for concealed conditions or pre-existing defects
- Radical is not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control
Total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service involved.
11. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
Both parties agree to first attempt good-faith informal resolution of disputes before initiating formal legal action.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina.
Venue for disputes shall be Greenville County, South Carolina unless otherwise required by law.
12. Franchise & Affiliated Operations
These Terms may apply to affiliated Radical-branded entities, franchise operations, software systems, or operational partners operating under common standards and systems.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Updated Terms become effective upon posting to our website.
Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
