Water Stain & Smoke Sealing in Greenville, SC

Water and smoke stains bleed through ordinary paint, sometimes within days. They need a stain-blocking primer to seal the surface first. We also want to know the leak is fixed before sealing, because otherwise the stain returns and takes the new paint with it.

What this includes

  • Stain-blocking primer on water marks
  • Smoke and nicotine sealing
  • Tannin bleed from knots in wood
  • Ceiling and wall stain repair
  • Repainted to blend with the room

Common questions

I painted over it and it came back.

That's normal without a stain blocker. Standard paint isn't a barrier — the stain migrates through. A shellac or oil-based blocker stops it permanently.

Can you get rid of smoke smell?

Sealing the surfaces removes most of it. Heavy nicotine sometimes needs washing first, and soft furnishings hold odour independently of the walls.
